The monograph is devoted to the history of the emergence and formation of the Russian Orthodox Church abroad. This topic has been studied little, because for decades was considered exclusively from the polemical positions. Based on the archival documents, the author tried unnecessary to respond to a number of issues related to the history of the Russian Church Abroad and with the position of His Holiness Patriarch Tikhon in relation to the Bishops" Synod in the Srem Karlovtsy. The book has reflected the events related to the currents within the Russian Orthodox Church in early 1920s, the position of the bishops and other church leaders in relation to orders of church authorities in Moscow was considered in detail
