The study is devoted to the study of the patterns of borrowing and exporting in Russian literature and Russian cultural use of foreign winged words, as well as some metaphor of topos and phraseological units, which have become symbols of European civilization. The focus is focused on the transformation of semantics, contexts and subtexts of foreign winged words when transferring them from one cultural tradition to another, as well as the evolution of their meaning over the centuries
