The monographs for the first time summarize the results of the introduction of decorative herbaceous plants in open ground and breeding work with them by employees of the Botanical Garden of the Ufa NC RAS for the period from 1932 to 2005. The contribution of leading flower specialists of Bashkiria to the solution to the problem of preservation and the solution to the problem of preservation and Expansion of plant biodiversity, the main areas of work and the methods used. Information is presented on the biology, geography and culture of representatives of 73 families, 267 genera, 676 species and varieties. Much attention is paid to the features of their growth and development, as well as the morphological features of plants during introduction. Recommendations for their agricultural technology and propagation methods are given.
