The book first presents the evolution of the Russian family not only in terms of passing the stages of the life cycle, but also the development of its general resource potential. The latter is evaluated both in the demographic, social and economic aspects, and with the involvement of the concepts of human and social capital, labor-temporal and information and communication capabilities.
The empirical base of the study was, first of all, the data of the quasi -fingered study of households in Taganrog, which lasted more than 30 years, which made it possible to cover a significant part of the entire life cycle of the examined families.
