The Orthodox Publishing House "Siberian Braveza" issues a six-volume meeting of the works of a famous modern Orthodox scientist-patrologist, professor of the Moscow Theological Academy A.I. Sidorov under the general name "patristic heritage and church antiquities." The fifth volume - from the golden age of patristic writing to the end of Christological disputes" - includes works written for almost twenty -eight years - from 1986 to 2014. The book is divided into three sections, each of which is dedicated to the fathers of the Church and church writers - prominent representatives of the ancient ethnic writing and theology of a certain period: I. Monofelitskis disputes of the VII century and the struggle for Orthodoxy (St. Maxim the Confessor and St. Anastasius Sinait, various issues of the history of the dogmatic struggle of the 7th century and theology of these famous fathers of the Church) Position prof. Sidorova is characterized by the Orthodoxy of the view, the scientificness of the method and a sufficient measure of popularity in the presentation, so the book proposed to readers will be interesting not only to teachers and students of spiritual and theological educational institutions, but also to all those who are interested in the history of the church and church theology
