Jean-Marc Rouillan - a legendary French anarchist, urban guerrilla, and intelligence agent, an employee of the Soviet KGB in France.
A participant in the 'Red May' of 1968, he did not limit the ideals of the Revolution and in the seventies led one of the largest guerrilla organizations of that time in France - 'Direct Action'.
Rouillan not only organized a series of assassination attempts on senior officials of the Fifth Republic but also managed to uncover the French government's plans for the development of chemical weapons - and thwart this development. By doing this, Rouillan significantly undermined France's military influence in West Africa. Also, the Rouillan-Menigon group exposed secret arms supplies by France to the racist apartheid regime in South Africa, thereby contributing to the defeat of this regime in numerous wars.
Jean-Marc Rouillan spent 13 long years in the most terrible prisons in France.
An outstanding intellectual and writer, Rouillan has published 18 books, many of which have been translated into Spanish, German, Greek, English, and Chinese. He continues to participate in the socio-political life of France.
