The monograph is dedicated to studying the manifestation of the Napoleonic complex among key classics of Russian literature from the beginning to the middle of the 19th century. The research provides a systematic analysis of the semiotic Napoleonic complex, which is manifested in each classic depending on personal and socio-worldview positions - from autobiographical constructs to invective and ironic variations of the myth.
