The first issues of the detective novel "The Secret of Edwin Drud", according to G.U. Longfello, "One of the best books of Dickens, if not the best", appeared in April 1870. The success was grandiose, all England was excited, trying to guess, succeed whether to fulfill his sinister plan to John Jasper, in the name of the crazy passion of Edwin Drud, who did not regret. But in June of the same year, Charles Dickens died, the novel remained incomplete, and what the finale should be, the writer did not tell anyone ... In the present publication, the very "Secret of Edwin Drud" itself, and several applications to it, designed to shed light on the last Dickensian riddle
