Lieutenant General Mikhail Konstantinovich Diterikhs - participant in the Russo-Japanese, First World, Civil Wars and one of the leaders of the White Movement in Siberia and the Far East. When the Whites entered Ekaterinburg in 1918, Diterikhs, at the request of Admiral Kolchak, supervised the investigation into the murder of the imperial family. In 1922, in Vladivostok, he published the book "The Murder of the Imperial Family and Members of the House of Romanov in the Urals", in which he not only detailed the course and results of the investigation, but also presented a number of his own conclusions. Of course, in the conditions of the Civil War, not all of the general's conclusions were based on documentary evidence, although he made every effort to maintain objectivity and take into account the facts that were revealed. The testimony of a person involved in the events always presents great interest.
