In the proposed book, the sides of the classical works are covered (from the age of Gogol to Pieces Chekhov), which usually elude the attention of the literature. The allocation of a motive of money (gold) will not only take a look at the actual point of view on the literary classics today, but also more clearly present a system of literary concepts used during the analysis of works, it is clear to realize the line between literature and reality. On the example of the works of Fonvizin, Pushkin, Gogol, Dostoevsky, Chekhov and other classics shows the formation of the Money (Gold) motive, its sustainable content in Russian literature.
