The mind of clear light. Commentary on prayer "Hero saving with fear."

The book “The Mind of Clear Light” is a recording of the oral instructions of his Holiness of the Dalai Lama to the inspired prayer of the first Panden-Lama “Hero saving from fear”. Commenting on the composition of the first panchen-lame of Lobsang Chokyi Gyalnen (1567-1662), the Dalai Lama describes various levels of consciousness-from the gross to the worst of the Mind of Clear Light. Consistently explaining the eight stages of dying, which at the end of life pass all living things, he shows how the recognition of the mind of clear light at the final stage of dying, allows the practicing to go beyond the cycle of being fulfilled by suffering.
The instructions included in the book were granted by the Dalai Lama in Dharamsal, in India, at the request of the famous American Buddhologist Jeffrey Hopkins.
The book is published in the Naland series, manufactured by the Tibet Foundation under the spiritual leadership of Talo Tulka Rinpoche
