The monograph is dedicated to the issue of the visible presence of the legacy of the former Polish-Lithuanian Commonwealth in the foreign and cross-cultural space, in which the Russian Empire was one of the participating countries in the partition of Poland. The wide chronological (up to the Soviet-Polish war) and thematic coverage, as well as the selected perspective of the transformation research conducted by the authorial team, which took place in various spheres of political and cultural life in Russia, where the multifaceted Polish question was more or less evident, led to sufficiently substantiated conclusions that complement the comprehensive picture of Russian-Polish relations both in terms of content and emotion.
