By doing a volunteer in the 5th Viking Tank Division, the young member of the Swedish fascist party Eric Vallen already as part of the 11th Panzergrenaderian Division of the SS Nordland passed from the Kurneda boiler to Berlin and after the war under the pseudonym Viking Yerk described the events on the Eastern Front in the last months of war.
