Pollution of surfaces and corrosion are the most serious problems for developers and enterprises operating industrial equipment, in particular, heat exchangers. In this work, the influence of the properties of the surface (roughness and free energy) on the formation of crystalline, biological and paraffin deposits, as well as on the process of corrosion, was studied.
