The course serves as an addition to the basic course on the history of economic exercises: it reveals the mechanism of the evolution of modern thoughts during the interaction of economic theory and economic policy on the examples of market transformation in Russia and the PRC. The recommendations of the shock therapy rejected into the PRC, but adopted in Eastern Europe and Russia, are compared with Western stroke assessments and reform results in these countries. It turns out what flaws in the initial theoretical positions led to failures during Russian reforms and what tasks it nominates before economic science.
