"Light House" - this is the first book of the beautiful Russian poet Hieromonk Roman (Matyushin -Prisoddin), published for children. For many years, Father Roman lives in the monastery of Vetrovo in the Pskov region: he serves in the temple, leads the household, in the warm season he accepts pilgrims. In winter, Father Roman remains completely alone and writes poems and songs that the whole Orthodox Russia knows.
Working on illustrations for this book, the artist Natalia Nazarova used children"s photos of Hieromonk Roman, visited the monastery and in the village of Ryabchevsk Bryanskaya areas. Therefore, the main character of the book is so similar to the poet himself, and landscapes - to his native places
