The historical and artistic album of Tauris Evgeny de Villenev and Vikenty Russen

This book is a story about two wonderful people - historian and artist. The names of these people are preserved in the history of the Crimea, but their biographies and creative heritage until recently we were almost unknown. Evgeny Frantsevich de Villenev - historian, archaeologist, Guardian of the Feodosi Museum of Antiquities. Vintage Osipovich Rassen is an artist, teacher, translator, author of lithographs and drawings with the image of the species of Crimea and its historical and architectural monuments. In 1853, their "historical and art album Taurida began to be published in Paris. This publication has become not just a bibliographic rarity, but rarity.
The Book of Eleanora Petrova, Doctor of Historical Sciences, Professor of the Crimean Federal University. V. I. Vernadsky, lay a copy of the album from the funds of the Feodosi Museum of Antiquities. The missing parts of the text and illustration are taken from albums stored in the library meetings of Russia and Ukraine.
