The poems of Li Bo selected for this collection were already published in the book 'Chinese Poet of the Golden Age. Li Bo: 500 Poems' (2011), but years have passed, and in the thirst for poetic consonance, overcoming the occasional dissonance of national cultural traditions, the translator has re-examined and polished them, aiming for a more accurate translation both to the original text and its artistic aura, seeking the opportunity to go beyond the text - to the energy of the verse as the most possible adequate of Li Bo's poetry.
The collection is accompanied by the Chinese originals, however, it is aimed not only at specialists-philologists, it will be of interest to all lovers of poetry.
