The monograph contains information about the discursive particles of the German language as a separate class of words with their inherent properties and functional features. The work includes theoretical and practical material, providing a detailed explanation of the relationship between discursive particles, discursive words, discursive markers, and modal words. In addition, criteria for distinguishing discursive particles from other classes of words in the German language have been developed.
