The feat of the tanker is a book about the hero of the Patriotic War Zinovia Grigoryevich Kolobanov. He talks in detail about the battle of a company of five heavy tanks under his command on the approaches to Krasnogvardeiska.
The first part of the book contains the memoirs of participants in the events of August 1941. The second is devoted to the analysis and analysis of documents of those years: orders, operages, combat reports. Many new details become known from the fighting magazines of the first and second regiment.
The basis of the book was a battle in which the crew of Zinovy Grigoryevich on August 19, 1941 destroyed the column of German equipment. All the details of this battle are collected. It is described how the crews of Kolobanov’s company acted. It is also told what preceded this event and was after it.
The publication is richly illustrated by images of staff operational cards. Fessed by analytical materials and photographs.
