The fate of the European project over time. Collection of articles

The collection continues the series of annual students" comprehension of culture by the Russian Institute of Cultural Science, corresponds to 15 and 16 issues. The book examines the rapid changes in understanding the time, initiated by the Greek philosophy, continued by Christianity transformed by the science of the new time. Such cultural and historical shifts suggest the discovery of consciousness, culture and man as a subject of their history. The current type of personal self-consciousness led to a positive assessment of novelty, orientation for the future, universal, but with the unique form of continuity, as well as the educational project Leibnitsa - Komensky. This allows metaphorically to talk about the "European draft time", discuss its positive and negative aspects, its alternatives and prospects.
