Tale Eternal husband (1870) and meek (1876), - on the author"s definition of stories, - a kind of psychological etudes, thinking the writer on the topic of love and family life. These works are as it were in the shadow of the Great Pentateuch of Dostoevsky, but at the same time they receive the continuation of the most important problems of his creativity. Love dramas in both poses become only the basis for the development of action, while the attention of the author focuses on the study of two human types - Tirana and Victims. If the conflict unfolds between a deceived husband and lover in the story Eternal Husband, then the relationship of her husband and wife is imbued in the meek dramatism. However, the question of who is the Heroes of Tirans, and who is the victim, Dostoevsky leaves open.
