Strangely enough, in modern sociology and philosophy, there is no satisfactory answer to these questions. Therefore, in developing his concept, the German sociologist Hans Joas thoroughly analyzes earlier solutions, in particular, the approaches of Nietzsche, James, Durkheim, Simmel, Scheler, Dewey, Taylor, and Habermas. His own solution is directly related to his theory of creative action.
