A small but meaningful book written by Dr. Peter Simonovich Kazansky (1819-1878), a theologian, historian, and professor at the Moscow Spiritual Academy, known for his outstanding works on church and civil history, as well as spiritual and educational writings intended for popular reading. Many of P.S. Kazansky's works were published anonymously. The result of Kazansky's collaboration as an anonymous author and the spiritual writer Nikolai Vasilyevich Elagin (1817-1891) as an editor and publisher was the publication of a series of books, including "The Earthly Life of the Lord God and Our Savior Jesus Christ," published in 1871 under Elagin's name. The pages of this book present the entire Gospel story of the earthly life of the Lord Jesus Christ in simple and accessible language, starting from His ineffable Incarnation from the Most Pure Virgin Mary to His Glorious Ascension into Heaven.
