The collection "Diaries of the Russian Traveler" is the first compiled and published in Russia, the complete works of I.A. Blindov (1851-1918), a large Russian businessman, traveler, writer. The diaries of the election traveler were published in the Russian periodical press in 1912-1914 and were not reprinted later.
The collection includes books in which the author shares his impressions about the countries of Europe, Asia, Africa and America. His tenacious and attentive look, an inquisitive mind and indefatigable fervor of the researcher turned the way notes into an interesting and for the modern reader a narrative.
Written with a living colorful language, filled with good humor and original comments "Diaries" complement many illustrations: photographs, engravings and drawings included in the intravital publications of I.A. Blazov. For the first time, photographs from the family archive, provided by the descendants of I. A. Ilekonov, were first published
