Creativity Mikhail Bulgakov has a tremendous influence on modern literature. And not only because he is recognized as a brilliant writer. Bulgakov was not less than a brilliant thinker who could not only correctly appreciate the complex socio-political situations, but also foresee the future.
Piece "Turbine Days", created on the basis of the White Guard novel, is devoted almost to the most tragic pages of domestic history - civil war. It was the only play in the Soviet theater, where white were shown not caricature, but with obvious sympathy. Moreover, Colonel Alexei Turbin was clearly endowed with autobiographical features of Bulgakov himself.
