The Red Army was not born from scratch. Her impressive victory in the Civil War would not have been impossible to go to the side of the Bolsheviks one and a half thousand most qualified officers of the old Russian army who graduated from the Nikolaev Military Academy and compiled the "brain of Soviet Russia.
