This textbook introduces readers with the culture of Russia, from ancient Rus" to the present. The purpose of the manual is to provide the opportunity for foreign students to expand their knowledge about the country"s culture of the studied language. The base was the theses of lecture courses that the author read at Russian and foreign universities. After the testing of lecture courses, some adjustments were made to the content of this training manual. In the form of presentation, the material seems quite accessible to perception and assimilation both at an average and an advanced stage of training.
