This book reveals to the reader the little-known period of the life of the last Russian sovereign of the Holy Tsar-Sostrosta, Nicholas II Alexandrovich-his early childhood: from 1876 to 1879.
The book also tells of the fate of the first teacher of Emperor Nicholas II and his first "classmate" - a mischievous friend from Pskov Street Volodya Olllong. In childhood, he was lucky enough to live and be brought up in the Anichkov Palace along with the future autocrat, and then the young Grand Duke Nikolai. Ollongren carried his impressions of this blessed time through his whole life, which ended far from Russia, in exile. It was there, in France, that the author of the story "Childhood of Emperor Nicholas II" Ilya Dmitrievich Surguchev and tsarist officer Vladimir Konstantinovich Ollongren met.
