The striped gray cat had neither a home nor an owner, only the nickname Sharp Ear for her excellent hearing. Two days before New Year's, the cat accidentally overheard a conversation between a boy named Vitya and his mother about an unusual wizard - Ded Moroz (Grandfather Frost).
