The second part of the seventh volume of the Cambridge History of the Ancient Mira is devoted to the history of early Rome from ancient times and until 220 BC. e. It was during this period that the future eternal city turned out of a small settlement with a primitive public structure to the center of a powerful Mediterranean power, which even its rivals admired the state device. The book analyzes the processes that occurred in the territory of Central Italy at the beginning of the 1st millennium BC. e. And ultimately led to the foundation of the city in Tiber, the formation of its main socio-economic, political and sacred institutions in the Tsarsky and early Company, the first steps of Rome in the international arena - from clashes with Latins living in the neighboring Latins and Etruscia to large-scale and victorious wars with Greeks and Carthageans.
