The Call of the Past: One Hundred Translations by Sergey Shorgin

Translator Sergey Shorgin (r. 1952) - a member of the age of translation forum-seminar under the direction of E.V. Vitkovsky. She took part in the three anthologies of the age of translation, the anthology of Seven centuries of English poetry, translations of A. Hausman"s translations, R. Sauti, L. Carrolla, K. Galchinsky, B. Lesmyan, Yu. Tuvima, V. Bronvsky. The book presents the established S. Shorgin from 2001 to 2012. Selected poetic transfers from English, Scottish, Australian, American (USA), Canadian, Polish, Slovak, Ukrainian, Belarusian poetry and from poetry to Yiddish.
