Translator Sergey Shorgin (r. 1952) - a member of the age of translation forum-seminar under the direction of E.V. Vitkovsky. She took part in the three anthologies of the age of translation, the anthology of Seven centuries of English poetry, translations of A. Hausman"s translations, R. Sauti, L. Carrolla, K. Galchinsky, B. Lesmyan, Yu. Tuvima, V. Bronvsky. The book presents the established S. Shorgin from 2001 to 2012. Selected poetic transfers from English, Scottish, Australian, American (USA), Canadian, Polish, Slovak, Ukrainian, Belarusian poetry and from poetry to Yiddish. Among the authors of translated poems and classics (R. Khinng, A. Hausmen, R. Bern, R. Stevenson, R. Frost, R. Service, B. Lesmyan, Yu. Tuvim, K. Galchinsky, M. Orest, etc) , and modern poets (Yu. Odryk, V. Zhibul) Many translations are published for the first time
