The book, compiled from the stories of the priest P.N. Vozdvizhensky, interestingly and engagingly narrates the events of the Old and New Testaments so that children aged 5 to 9 could understand the text without needing explanations from adults. The illustrations by artists from the creative workshop "Paletshane," complementing the narrative and depicting the described events, will strengthen in the children's hearts everything that they read. The publishers of the book aimed to convey to children not only knowledge about the events of Sacred History but also, as much as possible, a complete and integral Orthodox worldview.
