The collection of works of the Chiefs of Staff (General Staff) of the Red Army of the world's first socialist Soviet state of workers opens with the work of the first Chief of Staff, Commander P.P. Lebedev, and concludes with two articles by Marshal A.I. Egorov. In total, there are six surnames, six brilliant biographies, six military leaders, each of whom at one time held the position of Chief of Staff (General Staff) of the Red Army, including M.V. Frunze, S.S. Kamenev, M.N. Tukhachevsky, B.M. Shaposhnikov.
