The collection presents research on the history of culture, socio-political thought and the art of Europe of the late Middle Ages and early new time. The preferred attention of the authors was addressed to private and unique in spiritual life and social practice, on how the characteristic features of the world of the world embodied in their specific manifestations, and the public structure of the era was reflected and transformed. A special place is paid to the perception and assimilation of the European culture of the historical experience of other peoples and civilizations - both past and open at the turn of the new time. All of these topics are included in the range of research interests of the jubilee, Vsevolod Matveyevich Volodar. The participants in collective labor are presented and devoted to the fruits of their scientific research.
