In 1926, the airship called "Norway" flew over the northern ice ocean from Svalbard to Alaska. On the way, he - for the first time in history - people have passed over the North Pole. On board the airship there were brave travelers under the leadership of Rual Amundsen, and the captain of the aircraft was his creator, the Italian colonel Umberto Nobile. After a couple of years, an ambitious Italian decided to organize his own air expedition, this time - right on the pole! However, his bold plans were crashes. If it were not for the Soviet polar explorers who came to the aid of the icebreaker "Krasin", none of the crew of the airship "Italy would not see more native edges.
