The proposed educational manual was developed and written by scientists, clinical psychologists working with children, and developing their own model of teaching children with ASD since the 1980s. The book presents modern scientific data on the impact of ASD on brain processes, the main sources and elements of the Denver Early Intervention Model, detailed descriptions of the processes of writing short-term and long-term goals for child development, clear explanations of teaching methods for imitation, play, nonverbal and verbal communication skills, as well as teaching in group settings. In the appendix to the book, there is a list of target skills for building a curriculum, an assessment system for matching teaching methods, and a list of games. Recommended for specialists working with children with ASD, supervisors, instructors, parents, and students of special education, psychology, and pedagogy faculties at universities. All programs are adapted for teaching in Russian.
