In connection with the issuance of Order No. 308 by the Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation dated May 30, 2022, "On the organization of educational activities in federal state organizations carrying out educational activities and under the jurisdiction of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation," there arose a need to clarify, and in some cases revise, the technologies of professional military education. In this regard, the educational manual elaborates on the essence of the concept of "educational technologies," the features of designing the modern educational process in higher military educational institutions, the specifics of teaching methodology and methodological support of academic disciplines in a higher military school. The main attention is paid to teaching technologies used in military universities, analyzing the experience of their application, as well as the methodology of preparing and conducting distance learning sessions in the event of a possible quarantine. The educational manual provides recommendations based on the experience of conducting combat operations in a Special Military Operation as part of an additional program of professional retraining of military specialists for performing a new type of professional activity in the field of higher school pedagogy. The educational manual is intended for teachers and students studying in military educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation for performing a new type of professional activity in the field of higher school pedagogy, as well as for training adjuncts and pedagogical staff of universities of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, educational military centers at civilian universities, and for professional development.
