Psychological assistance to a family raising a child with problems in development is the direction in the domestic special psychology, which emerged at the turn of the XX and XXI centuries, which provides assistance not only to children with disabilities, but also includes the correctional process of their parents. The book is the first textbook in which theoretical approaches and practical technologies of psychological assistance to families of children with disabilities are revealed. The author"s methodology of correctional work is presented, the features of education in the family of a child with disabilities are disclosed, psycho therapeutic techniques are proposed, aimed at overcoming the stressful experiences of children"s parents, reflects the specificity of continuity in the work of various specialists and an interdepartmental approach. The first edition of the book was published in 2007 under the name Technologies of psychological assistance to families of children with development deviations.
