The monograph discusses modern biotechnological technologies and new techniques for solving environmental problems. It presents the theoretical foundations of microorganism cultivation and the most common eco-biotechnological technologies, including biological water purification, soil and air biotechnology, as well as aerobic and anaerobic treatment of sewage sludge and waste generated during the processing of plant raw materials. Possible ways of obtaining electricity through anaerobic fermentation of sewage sludge are analyzed.
