The textbook presents an improved theory of vibration diagnostics of rolling bearings. Methods of technical diagnostics of electrical equipment insulation without high-voltage testing are provided. For the first time, the physical nature of the electric arc inside the tank of an oil-filled transformer is revealed. Methods of comprehensive technical diagnostics of electric motors and power oil-filled transformers are described. Expert systems for technical diagnostics of electrical equipment are discussed. Conditions for cable damage due to partial discharges are identified.
