Tasks with matches and counting sticks

Matches are not a toy for children. Moreover, in the past, matchboxes were found in every home, but now it is not the case. However, many first graders have a set of counting sticks, which are usually not used much in school. Therefore, you can confidently take the counting sticks and come up with different tasks using them. Counting sticks can be used not only in the first grade: we have collected a collection of games for children aged 6 to 8 years. Counting sticks are great for geometric games - you can create various narrative pictures with them. For some narrative pictures, you may need circles (such as coins or hair ties) and arcs (such as half a ring) or pieces of string. Using such a set, you can create a picture with a house or cherries, with a person and a cat.
