This edition presents two talmudic treatises: Pirkia Avot and Avot de Rabbi Nathan (in two versions) Pirkia Avot is the only one of the treatises of Mishna, which contains not galachic judgments, but exclusively asked the statements of 63 Wise men-Tanaev. In the traditional Jewish scholarship, this is a very popular treatise that was included in prayer books to read on Saturdays, many expressions from it became sayings. This treatise is an important source for the study of the Talmudic Thought and Jewish theology in general, it is formulated by the fundamental concepts of nature and the essence of a person. Avot de Rabbi Nathan is a collection of aphorisms, interpretations and stories attributed to the tanne, in content and structure closely associated with the Pirki Avot. This treatise has developed in the posttamudic era and reached us in two editions, the second of which was discovered in the XIX century.
