This publication is a translation from the German 3rd edition of the book of Professor Peter Nobel "Schweizerisches Finanzmarktrecht Und International Standards" (Stampfli Verlag AG, BERN 2010) The Russian-speaking edition is updated and supplemented in accordance with the latest changes in Swiss and international law and gives a general understanding of the main provisions, development trends and problems of Swiss and international financial rights as of May 31, 2012.
The first part of the book contains extensive material about the banking and financial sector of Switzerland as a whole, as well as a description of the international legal framework for financial rights (including the regulatory standards of the IMF, WTO, General Agreement on Trade Services, Bank of International Claims, International Commission Organization on securities, etc., as well as the right of the European Union. Completes the first part of an overview of international cooperation in the financial field. In the second part of the book, issues of legal regulation of the activities of the main institutions of the Swiss financial system are highlighted. Special attention is paid to banking law and banking oversight, stock exchange Alliances, corporations as participants in the state market and investment funds. The book also examines the criminal law standards in the financial field, banking secrets and international administrative and legal assistance.
