The city was shaken by a brutal crime - a young married couple was cruelly murdered in their own apartment: she was strangled, he was pushed out of the window. The couple led an active life on social media, so the investigative committee decided to have all of this massive amount of correspondence read by a philologist, a person from the academic community, in order to find traces of threats, verbal aggression, and suspicious connections. An experienced linguist can glean much more from the texts and the contexts they form than an ordinary reader. Therefore, the philologist-expert Victoria Berseneva was able to draw important conclusions about the personalities of the deceased, and perhaps this will help solve the crime, as the usual investigation has hit a dead end...
