The summer cinema "Moscow" was built in 1966 in the central part of Yerevan, the capital of Armenia (then the Armenian SSR) The authors of the project were the architects of the Spartak KNTYTRITS and Telman Gevorgyan. A feature of the cinema was its environmental character, which is not always inherent in modernist compositions, often striving to dominate space. The masterful combination of functional simplicity, the brightness of the artistic form and the subtle environmental urban planning solution gives every right to attribute the Yerevan summer cinema to a number of masterpieces of architecture of modernism of the 1960s
