The goal of this textbook is to describe the linguistic and methodological foundations of studying word order patterns in the Russian language, to familiarize readers with the patterns of Russian word order at the level of structural construction of phrases, sentences of various semantics, text creation, and implementation of coherence in the text, and to activate students' knowledge through a system of exercises. This textbook is intended for foreign students who want to master the word order patterns in the Russian language, for beginner teachers of Russian as a foreign language, and for anyone who loves the Russian language and wants to understand how word order works at structural and functional levels.
