Stroganovka. 190 years of Russian design

The monograph for the first time reveals the history of the formation of the domestic school of design for almost two centuries. Stroganov School played a leading role in the processes of professional and educational design of design in Russia. Throughout the 20th century, the school has undergone a number of radical changes in connection with the socio-economic and cultural situation in the country. The development of the domestic design school is shown in the mutual influence of many factors: the change of artistic and style trends, the development of educational and methodological principles and a scientific school of design, reflects the role of the bright personalities of teachers in the preparation of generations of domestic designers.
