The book substantiates the key role of strategic management, gives a brief description of the state of foreign and domestic strategic thought. The determining role of the head of the leader in the development of the strategy is shown, its impact on the quality of strategic management and the border of the picture of the world from the strategist. The applied kernel of the work is the author"s concept of an optimized strategic management cycle. It includes four private cycles: substantiations, adoption, implementation of the strategy, summarizing the experience of strategic management.
