Strangled Russia. Politico-economic portrait of Yeltsinism

The center of attention is the tragic events in Russia at the turn of the Millennium. The first two sections are dedicated to the events of August 1991, Belovezhsky treacility and especially the state coup of September - October 1993 (at that time the author was the first deputy chairman of the Supreme Soviet of the Russian Federation) The author not only analyzes the causes and development of events of those years, but also shows their hardest political and economic consequences for the country.
